Vinicius Jr Offers Apology to Los Blancos Devotees

The forward has registered five finishes in 10 Spanish league matches this season.

Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr has apologised to fans for his conduct when taken off in the recent fiery match against Barcelona triumph.

He was replaced in the 72nd min and expressed his frustration by going straight off the pitch.

He subsequently came back to the sidelines and, after his club's narrow triumph, attempted to approach the opposition's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury final whistle incidents.

"Now I want to apologise to all the supporters for my behavior when I was replaced in the big match," Vinicius shared on X.

"Just as I have already done during the latest training, I wish to apologise again to my colleagues, the club, and the leadership.

"Occasionally emotion takes over me because I always want to triumph and help my club. My determined nature comes from the passion I feel for this team and each thing it symbolizes."

The player joined Real from Flamengo in the year 2018 for millions and has scored triple figures in more than 300 games.

But his career in the La Liga is uncertain with speculation in recent months suggesting that the club would contemplate allowing the player leave if they were to receive a suitable offer.

When he was substituted on the match day, broadcast footage from network the service recorded him remarking: "It's always me! I'm departing the side! It's wiser if I go, I'm going."

In his most recent message on the platform, the athlete said: "I commit to keep fighting at all times for the benefit of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the first day."
