Travelers aboard British Airways can soon access fast connectivity onboard free of charge after a major agreement with SpaceX's satellite firm.

The airline announced that this complimentary, “fast and dependable” wifi provision through Starlink becomes offered to customers flying coach, premium economy, or first class as of soon.
Expanded Implementation Across Various Carriers
The umbrella company for British Airways, IAG, confirmed it had reached an deal with SpaceX to offer internet services on over 500 planes within the group's carriers, such as the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.

BA noted that the implementation for the service was included in a £7bn “transformation” initiative and will provide smooth internet service to travelers starting at the gate through arrival, even when in flight above large bodies of water or remote regions.

Existing Connectivity Offerings
