Franchise leads Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are confirmed to appear in the latest Hunger Games series film, Sunrise on the Reaping.
Reports indicate that fan-favorite stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.
A Major Return to Panem
Lawrence and Hutcherson are returning as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. It is believed their cameos will take the form of a brief glimpse ahead, given that the main film series concluded with their characters settled into family life.

Sunrise on the Reaping is adapted from a recent book by author Suzanne Collins. It acts as the follow-up prequel after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. For this project is Francis Lawrence, who has helmed most of the previous films in the series.
